I just got a 2002 MDX and have a couple of questions. First, I noticed the fuel tank is plastic. One have is covered with galvinazed sheet metal the other have is uncovered. Is this normal? It almost appears that 1/2 the metal cover was left off during assembly. The second question involved the purpose of two small holes with covers in the rear interior roof. One hole on each side. Each is covered with two plastic covers. What are they for?

Thanks,
Martin

The holes in the rear cover with plastic caps are for the speration net, item #08U36-S3V-200 on Tim's webpage.

The fuel tank shield covers the half of the tank that is closest to the driveshaft; that's the way it's built.
