Been having some battery issues, and just want to rule things out.

When I perform the test, I start with the higher amount, 20 amps. The draw is much less.

Upon moving to milliamps, I keep blowing the damn fuse in the multimeter (which are a pain to find).

It appears when I complete the circuit that the draw "spikes" then settles down around 170Ma (measured on the 20 amps setting)

I'd like to use the more precise milliamps to track down my issue.

What am I doing wrong?

Get a clamp-style ammeter. Safer and you’ll stop blowing fuses.

Just disconnect the bluetooth module. Lol. That's what my parasitic draw was. I just went through this about a week ago, however, my draw was around 310 milliamps (and I had the 10 amp setting on my multimeter so it read 0.31).

But if you're showing 170 milliamps on the 20 amp setting, why are you changing to milliamps? Just start pulling fuses until the reading drops. I would start with the F1 backup fuse in the engine bay. If that drops the power reading, it's more than likely your bluetooth module.
