Check Engine Light came on today along with the VTM4 light also. I pulled to the side of the road and turned off the car, waited around 30 seconds then I started it again. The VTM4 light went away, but the CEL is still on. Drove it home and pulled the P2254 code. I cleared the code, drove it for a mile and its still off, but I have a feeling it will come back soon since the car already has over 130k miles on it.

I am searching forums and other posts and read that an O2 sensor has gone bad, or is it an A/F sensor. I see others with the same issue on a different model MDX and also with other codes like P0154 and more.

I only have the P2254 code. No other codes, no noticeable driving issues either and still getting the average mpg.

From one site the code means O2 Sensor Bank 2 sensor 1
From another site the code means A/F Sensor Bank 2 sensor 1

Please help in getting accurate details of the issue.

Thank you.

The following comes from the factory manual on our vehicles..."Front Air Fuel Ratio (A/F) Sensor (Bank2, Sensor 1) VS Line High Voltage.
