178K on my '07 MDX. Started receiving P0430 back in Dec of last year. No other symptoms. Reset code and it will stay off for weeks, months before returning. Hooked up a scanner and monitored voltage and saw bank 2 sensor 2 dropping while sensor 1 did not, so I replaced it. This did not solve my problem.

What would be the next recommendation? I know a lot of people jump to cat but wondering if bank 2 sensor 1 could be causing reading errors on sensor 2?

Can you overlay throttle position sensor, rpm, b1s1, b2s1 graph with this chart?

To rule out b2s1, you can swap it with b1s1. See whether the code will move.

Yes I will try adding those to my graph. I've never seen any way to look at O2 voltage for b1s1 or b2s1, I believe those are referred to as 'fuel trim' on both my HDS and cheap ODB scanner.

I thought about swapping those 2 but they aren't super expensive so I'd probably just replace it - but if I can would like to know where the problem is first.

Don't you typically have other symptoms when a cat goes out? I'm not having any performance issues and gas mileage is good. It's been like this for 11 months and the frequency the ECU throws P0430 hasn't changed. Just wanted to rule anything else out before replacing.
You can here some rattling, or feel "choke" when try to accelerate swiftly. If you have inspection camera, it is possible to check the condition of the cat through the oxygen sensor holes.
P0430 is bank 2. It is easy accessible in front of the engine....

Good luck

Did you ever sort this out? I have P0430 as well on my 10 with 232k and suspect it’s a bad cat. I am looking into cat cleaners also.
