The Raiders should be able to take it to the big game this year against the rest of these teams. Tennessee has been playing well although I don't think they looked all that impressive against Houston today (I didn't see the game but 13-3 doesn't sound very impressive).

Hmmmmmmmmm Let me think a second tic toc tic toc Ok how about The RAIDERS!

Now the Road To San Diego comes through Oaktown!

My biggest concerns are the Titans & the Jets both peaking at the right time.

All I have to say, is with all the rain we are getting who ever comes to Oaktown better bring their long spikes.

Ohhh ya, Thanks Pats, the Fins were my biggest worry, they matched up well with the Raiders.

Tennessee has won 10 out of 11 after a 1-4 start. The bye week will allow them time to heal up. They should meet the Raiders in the AFC Championship game. The winner of that game will win the Superbowl. i am hoping it is the Titans...

My thinking exactly, BigDog. :4: I'm sure that's little consolation to Maik, however...

Funny you should mention Gannon (MVP?) & Rice because these 2 good ol boys made the Pro Bowl.

Oh yeah, you forgot to Dis Rod Woodson, also an older fellow, he made the Pro Bowl too.

Raiders safety Rod Woodson races upfield for an 81-yard interception return for a touchdown.

Yeah, I thought you already knew that. Pretty embarrasing to the younger players huh... I'd be ashamed to let 'grandpa' get out of his sick bed and out play me all the way to the Pro Bowl. :D :4: LOL

**Note to self: Never go into the black hole without full body armor!

Definately... The Raider team, and it's supporters share common characteristics... Tough, Mean, Smashmouth, Aggressive, ect, ect.. We love being physical!:2:

BTW.. Did you catch the Middleton's multiple pancake blocks on Gannons touchdown throw to Jolley? Talk about comical, I can't remember when I laughed so hard... If I were that Chiefs lineman, I'd have stayed down in the mud!

Raiders have been the most dominant team in the AFC this year. The Titans have won 10 out of 11 after that horrendous 1-4 start. I think this would be a great AFC Championship game. Obviously, Oakland would have to be considered the favorite. But dont count out the scrappy Titans. With a healthy and rested Steve McNair, Tennessee can play with anybody in the league!!!

Who would you Raider fans rather face next week? The Titans will play the highest remaining seed. i think that Pittsburgh will win so the Titans will play the Steelers. I think the Jets will upset the Colts. if so, the Jets will travel to Oakland. i think the Jets are a dangerous team. i would rather face the Colts than the Jets. And believe it or not, if the Browns win, they could give the Raiders a good game, IMO. They always seem to hang around, and then win in OT. Bottom line, as a Titans fan, i would like to play the teams in the following order:
1. Colts
2. Steelers
3. Browns
4. jets

How do you guys see it?

Matchups are everything, I think you're right when it comes to the Titans matchup. For instance, I think they match up better against the Jets than the Raiders do. Our secondary is severely banged up, so we don't want to see any hot quarterbacks with great receievers, ie Jets, and Colts. Right now, I think we match up better with physical bread and butter teams, ie Steelers, and Titans. I don't know about the Browns though.

Unfortunately, due to the seedings, it's more likely we'll face the Jets or Colts. (I doubt the Browns will get past the Steelers). It won't be easy...:headshake

I would go for the raiders, however they do tend to slip up in the final moments. And then there is the Eagles and Packers, two great QBs who can almost win the game by themselves.
