hey guys, Here is my 'stock' MDX touri-nav, granite green on black. Came with a lot of the factory accessories. I took delivery on the 22nd of feb, last friday.

My first upgrades are gonna be a stage II HID Kit from hids4less.com and then an entertainment system for the rear seat (DVD, fold down screen, maybe screens on the headrests).

Inputs welcome, I'm gonna need alot of help along the way.

looks great!

I'm on the Island and am considering a video system have you decided on an installer and what type of system your going to put in? I'm curious I haven't been able to decide what ot who to use for the install.:D\
I have a black/ebony tour took delivery on 11/29/01 and have 3750 miles now runs great. I put on the tailgate, side steps, wood wheel, wood shifter, cargo net and tray, lower trim up front and side molding passed on pin strips so far. wheel locks for sure and installed a clifford alarm with auto start. wood meter panal you have to try the zaino products everyone raves about here's the link and check out the alarm link to look at the g-4 system

Where in NY, NY are you guys?

Barakutha,
Your picture does not look like you are in NYC. Was that taken in one of the suburbs? I'm in SI, NYC. Where exactly are you? If you don't mind me asking. Got my premium Mahagony from Apple Acura (PA). Yep 2.5 hours away. Rather pay MSRP than deal with bloodsucker dealers here in the Tri-state area. I actually wanted that color but the wifeee wanted a saddle. Nice GG color, I'm jealous.

Those pics were taken in queens.

I want my MTV, oops i mean HID :D

How are you guys liking the navigation system in NY?

I am a big northern state parkway fan, but the nav wants to keep me on the LIE all the time. I'm just waiting to go on a long road trip to really get the most use out of this system.

Congrats on your new MDX. Looks great but I'm a little bias since I picked up my GG Touring MDX on 2/19 from Hillside Acura in Bay Shore. They may be cousins on the factory line. What's your vin? Mine is 13,311. I really like the wood trim instruments. Maybe I'll do that next after I get the painted rear deflector from Tim put on. Already installed running boards, ventshades & double body side molding to protect the sides.

Happy MDXing!!!!

Barakutha-

If you are going to get a rear entertainment system..I recommend getting a flip down monitor..which has active matrix resolutions. They have 13 inches now and then install a digital filter for DVD movies that can connect to the existing BOSE system and install at Sony Playstation...that plays Video games and movies and is small and works EXCELLENT!

Welcome to the board!

I got mine delivered on Feb. 19th. I had to drive to Philly from NYC to get mine, though. They were the first of three dealers I put deposits (the others were Westchester and Denville, NJ).

The Navi in NYC has been pretty good. On my way home the other day, there was a huge wreck on 495. I asked the Navi to avoid 495, and it took me on local roads I would have never known to take on my own.

For entertainment center, check out www.theautoaccessories.com. They have probably one of the cheapest video products on the internet. I've checked quite extensively. For local installers, try www.streeteffectz.com. They have had a pretty good reputation. When there website is up, you can see some of their work.

Enjoy!!

Here in New Hyde Park, Long Island

Hey all,

Would love to meet some of you in the area and discuss the X. Maybe we could do lunch one day at a local place.

I have a dvd system installed with the overhead and one additional monitor in the front. Have a Panasonic portable DVD player installed in the arm rest.

Always looking for change and make the X better. This is my 3rd DVD I have had installed so far, willing to talk about my experiences.

Also have a remote start installed using the factory remote.

Also have a ton of acessories installed.

Let me know if anyone is interested, I seriously am.

Arun
