Hi everyone,
It's our family's first purchase of an Acura brand vehicle to keep up with our growing family. So far we're impressed with the amenities, finish, and overall ride quality.

However, one thing that's been driving us crazy are the loose/rattling windows. Anytime they're partially lowered, they're quite loose. Anytime the doors are opened or closed, they rattle as if they're ready to fall out. Furthermore, anytime you drive over a bump, they rattle (the sort of sound you'd hear when crumbling paper). Given that all four windows suffer from this, I'm inclined to think it's part of the design?

Regardless, for a $50k luxury vehicle, this seems like a terrible engineering decision.

Can anyone recommend a solution? We live in NYC and drive with the windows partially lowered most of the year.

Many thanks everyone!

Not to throw fire on a flame, but we've had a window chatter (driver's window) which sounded like rustling paper. It was reduced - when closed - after the dealer shoved something in the top of the rail/housing.

Front passenger windows now does it to a lesser extent.

Doors aren't Mercedes vault like, but are okay. Not sure what you're going for - might need a door hinge adjustment - I've had MDX's with doors which range from flimsy to overly tight based on the hinge adjustment (tight/loose).
