Well I hate to sound like a lawyer all the time, but.......
The Statute of Frauds requires that any sale of goods over $500 requires the agreement to be in writiing and and signed by the person who you seek to enforce against. Therefore you MUST add an agreed to and signed by line at the bottom of your letter.
