As Posted by Tim back in 6/28/01 (http://www.acuramdx.org/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=2164&highlight=sunshade), I now have this shade and I must say I am impressed with it's custom fit and build quality. For so many years I've used all kinds of windshield shades and IMHO I think this is the best so far. Just hook-up with Tim if your interested.

What I like best is it's custom fit from edge to edge of the windshield.

Thanks Tim!!

Notice even behind the rear-view mirror is covered well.

Wongster,

Yeah I didn't see it on his web site either. Just PM Tim for the latest price.

Pics above, the sunshade color is somewhat shiny silver on the outside and white on the inside

The price is $35 shipped.

THe reason that it's not up on the website yet is that my site master had been hospitalized for a week with gastrointestinal bleeding, and is at home recovering. I really don't want to press him, I simply told him that "I have some work for you, whenever you are ready."

How big is the box for running boards??

:13:
My sunshade from Tim arrived today! Wasn't sure what it was till I opened the box. Blew my mind away (visualize Kramer's head shake with right arm hailing). :bonk:

Not to take anything away from Tim, but they sell these at my local Acura dealer (they actually gave me one - the only thing I've ever gotten for free).

They work well, they are just a pain to put in place - although I think all sunshades are. I'd like one that was folded accordian style - and still fits the window pretty well.

Since those don't come boxed from the factory, we have to use whatever we have around here to do the job. Hence the big box :4:

I got an accordian style one from Costco, works and fits pretty well, though obviously not "custom" for the MDX. Less than $10.00 though, if I recall :)

Hi Cheetos:

___Just a bit OT but has anyone told you how nice your X looks? I like the wood look steering wheel and gauge trim for the interior as well!

Just ordered my accordian-style, custome to the MDX windshield from Autosport.com.....the rollups are too much of a pain to roll/unroll, and will curl at edges over time.
