Nice job! That looks like the type of self-installation I might be willing to try. Was there any 'pre-assembly' required or does the hat come with all the parts assembled? Did you have to purchase your MDX separately, or did it come with the hat?

My saleperson wanted to charge me $169.99 for the cap (including labor) because he INSISTED that a jack/lift was required to raise the head in Step #3 (the cap could not be simply lowered).

Never forget how now!!

I will never forget how to install my MDX Cap now. I can read the instructions just before I exit the car. Programmed into the NAVI. Used my PIN Number for a personal address.

Being a "gator" explains why it took you 4 steps for the installation. Your wife, a "Nole", could have done it in one. Stevie Superior would have taken 5 steps. Step 5: Throw it ! No, wait! He only throws visors!!!!!!!! :2:
