If you are interested in getting one, go to Zellers. It costs C$2.97, much much cheaper than store.acura.com or ebay (ranging from U$6 to 9 plus shipping).
It only comes in one size, and one color - silver. So check it out !!

I found it in the toys department. It is made by Maisto, under the line "Ruff n' Tuff - Power Racer."
I have been checking around in various toys department, toy store and hobby shop, I believe Zellers is the first (and only) one to carry it.
I double checked the box to confirm the size, and it says 1:33 instead . Anyway, I measured the length of it and it is about 4 inches long.

p.s. I just bought one more last week, it looks too good to let it sit on the shelves .... can't help it !

Wongster: thanks for the great tip! Went to the nearest Zeller's: they had one left! I picked it up for $2.93 (that's about $0.43 US...). The underside does say 1:36 scale, and its overall size would indicate that that's about right. All I have to do now is paint it black!

Pierre - which Zellers did you go to?? I've looked at the Shawnessy location and had no success. My house is overrun with Mustangs in all scales - it's time for them to move over & make room for an MDX!!

zesuesdx -- I went to the Market Mall Zellers. Only had one MDX on the shelf, lots of Jeeps, etc. Looks like getting the scale model is just as tough as getting the real thing!

Pls let us in the lower 48 know if you find a place for us to buy them. As you pointed out, they cost a heck of a lot more from ebay. Shipping alone cost more than you guys are paying.

I just picked one up today at my Acura dealer in Cary, NC; it's silver, Touring, 4.5" long on a ~6" X ~2.75" black base. No opening doors, very good fit 'n finish. Brand = Maisto; box is marked Sterling Collection, and also marked "not for children under 3 years" -- so MOST of us at .org will be able to play with it!

Dealer also had spillproof MDX mugs and a large canvas MDX carryall bag, which looks like it could be used for toting cameras and accessories. I got a mug and the diecast for $14 (MSRP slightly higher).
