I just received my Manik's but I didn't find any torque specifications for tightening the bolts in the directions. I checked Manik's web site and this site with no luck.

Did anyone else with Manik's installed use a torque wrench or just tighten the bolts until they where tight?

If you used a torque wrench, what's the setting for the support bracket mounted to the chassis and the setting for the support bracket to the side steps?

Thanks,
Papawoolf

I didn't buy the Maniks yet, but downloaded the instructions from their website. You would think their lawyers would have them specificy torque values.
You might try calling or e-mailing them. Or download the instructions for the Acura steps or running boards at Hondacuraworld.com and use those torque call outs, should be similar.

I just tightned until tight. As you mentioned there is no torque specs. I just would be careful not to overtightnen the smaller bolts that go onto the body of the X. The larger bolts can obviously be tightned with more torque.

They go on real easy and look great :)
