We've had our MDX since Nov with no issue.

Today we drove 3 hours up here to Orlando. No issue. Get off the interstate and the car sounds like it's "humming" down to speed. Almost like a race car that is decelerating. It's hard to explain.

To note in case it matters it rained the entire way up here. Not sure if that matters.

Its hard to explain the noise but it doesn't seem like the car has any issues with gears, all is smooth, but I feel the "noise" in the brake peddle very slightly. If I didn't hear the noise - all would be fine as the car performs, but this noise is concerning being 3 hours from home.

ANY idea?

was this between 25 to 35 mph? Honda/acura transmission at these speeds when coasting and not using the accelerator makes a bit of a rumbling sound.

Maybe, you are hearing the noise canceling system? It puts out a low frequency hum thru speakers that is supposed to reduce road noise at varying speeds or rpms.

if only that feature/solution could solve the reverberating suspension noise issue in the rear. :|

Some of these noises are due to one of the plastic engine bay shrouds not being seated properly and vibrating at speed. Check those - especially if you had one of them off recently.
