FYI

I've been contemplating a wood (pwood) dash kit and was surfing today. The Joshua Tree site, www.woodtrim.com, says the kit is 20% off through today only w/ free shipping.

I don't know if they have these sales all the time or not, but I'd thought I'd pass it on.

aftermarket dashes

i recently put a full kir on a 2000 maxima and found out the hard way they are not as good as dealer installed wood or simulated dashes. after a year i noticed that they start to come off especially where the sun comes in they tend to lift up and have to be reheated with a heat gun to get back down it an ongoing war to keep them down. i actually have a top of line real wood dash with the most up to date 3m bonding system and still have problem the installer for mine also does the high end vehicles mercedes, bmw's and lexus. he stated it's a common problem and not as good as the dealer installed ones which never or very rarely move from heat over the years. also some of the pre-cut pieces do not match up exactly with the areas covered. if look close the are imperfections even with the high end ones. best of luck but i wood stay with simulated wood from dealer;)
