I noticed this jingle sound when driving over pot holes/road bumps. Then looked for it driving over road divider pegs. I hear this sound coming from rear seat (behind driver seat) and the front passenger seat. I could reproduce the noise when not driving by banging on the rear seat...Has any body has this problem? looks like some spring or coil is loose..

Could it be seat belts or buckles? Probably not but it was just a thought. Otherwise it sounds like an extra added Christmas accessory.

It is the seat belt buckles, I went through this as well. Buckled up or not the inner works of the seem to rattle. My fix was cut in half some felt self stick pads and put them inside when the button is pushed down to eliminate any movement when returned to unpushed position.
On the other hand it my simply be loose change

I'm assuming you're from Hawaii. Can I ask you something? I spent a good part of my childhood in Hawaii and growing up, I always thought that Santa came on a red canoe. Do you know if that's a Hawaii thing?
Also, do you by chance know the Islander's version of the twelve days of Christmas? I just need 12-6... I got 5-1.

I have a 2002 and the rear seat belt buckles rattle when not being used which is about 100% of the time - they bang against the seat bracket. I am thinking about sticking a piece of magnetic plastic strip on the seat bracket thinking perhaps the buckle will "stick' to the magnet and not bang around.
The car is going to the dealer for a vibration on 1/7, I will let them try to fix the rattle before I get creative.

I too had a "vibration" sound coming from the rear seat, but couldn't tell exact location. Dealer's tech reviewed problem, and the "fix" was to put some leather conditioner on seat where it folds, ie, portion where you sit and back. Seems OK nowanumdx said:
