Still years away from needing this on our 10X but was wondering if the valves on both banks tend to be the same. IOW, if all of the valves on the easily accessible Bank 2 were within spec, would I be safe in not going to the trouble of opening up Bank 1? Thanks.

You cannot assume any relationship between individual valve & seat wear. It only takes one tight valve to create an expensive repair.

I agree with Bluepill. Lash at each valve needs to be checked if you want to know the true status.
