Yes, the assembly with the front jacking point is the subframe.

The subframe is the black metal cage you see underneath the car.. Its what holds the engine and connects it to the car chassis. The Steering rack is held on to that subframe, The bolts must be check from beneath the car near where the prop-shaft leaves the transfer case.

You don´t want to mess with the Subframe bolts, You want to locate the STEERING RACK BOLTS! which are bolted to the subframe.

You don´t want to mess with the Subframe bolts, You want to locate the STEERING RACK BOLTS! which are bolted to the subframe.


Are these 4 bolts to look for that holding the steering rack?
