OK, I usually don't criticize these type of selections (I just promote those that I happen to agree with ). But Intellichoice has a glaring deficiency in their "Cost to Own" calculation - they obviously DO NOT value the TIME each of the owners spends dealing with warranty and repair work. Forget for the moment the ML, selecting the Mercedes-Benz CLK as "Best Car Value over $24,000" is preposterous given it's "un" reliability. Consumer Reports pegs the CLK with an "off the chart" BAD reliability rating of (-94%) worse than average for its category. Who cares if the repair costs are covered under warranty if you never have a change to drive the car because it's in the shop!
