Ign key getting stuck

2008 my the ignition key sometimes is hard to put in, it,ll go halfway then hang up a little until I wiggle it, sometimes after its in I have to wiggle a little to turn it to the start position, sometimes it just fine, one time i had a little problem turning it off & getting it out, I used wd40 & it helped, is my ign tumbler going bad? or my something else ???
