After four excruciatingly painful months, I got a sneak peek of my new SS 188 MDX!! I called the dealer today, and mine was supposed to arrive tommorow, but instead it came this morning with about nine others that have been spoken for. I walked around the dealership, and couldn't spot mine. Eventually, I made my way to the service bay, and there she stood!! It was getting washed, and the accessories were already installed!! So tomorrow at noon I go to do the final paperwork and pick up the new MDX!! I have never been so excited/anxious in years.
I am doing a 4 year lease at a .230 money factor. Thanks to everyone for all their input through this process. I just bought a digital camera and will try and post some pics! Happy holidays and a happy, healthy and safe new year.
P.S. On Friday, the MDX is off to Missouri!!

Now I can say that I'm officially an MDXDRIVER.:)

Congratulations and welcome

Congratulations, and who is that lease through -- a .23 money factor is only 5.52% -- that's really good -- especially for 4 years.

If you could let me know the lender, I'd appreciate it!

Best of luck to you, and post pictures once you get her...

The lease program is through Honda of America!! I elected to not put down a security deposit, and if I did, the payment would have decreased 10 basis points. I am leaving soon to go to the dealer to finalize everything. Will let you know how everything went soon..

Great to drive, but a few problems..

Well, today I picked up my silver MDX, just as the doctor ordered!!
The car is very quiet, and am quite happy with the exception of the following items, of which I will bring to dealer's attention tomorrow. When the brakes are depressed, or when I am reversing, I hear a squak/high pitched noise/sounds like a baby making its first noises... Any ideas on what this is?? It only occurs when I am barely revving or slowly reversing. Secondly, I hear continous sloshing of some liquid in the rear.. Is it the gas tank?? The dealer tried to remove a few scratches from the dash board, and whatever stuff they used, left a big smudge mark on the passenger side dash. Lastly, the trim under the passenger seat is not attached properly and looks as if it is hanging strangely. Other than these items, It rides nicely and the NAV is simply amazing!! Overall quite impressed.. I will be happier once these items are fixed though, and then I will post pictures!!

Regards,

Thanks everyone...

For the warm welcome!!

I have never driven a vehicle in my life with such a smooooth transmission!! Just for fun, and to avoid harsh braking, I put the MDX into D4, D3, and so on, while I am stopping, and the passengers have absolutely no idea!! As for the gas tank sloshing and the brake depression noise, the dealer said today that they are aware of the noises, and there currently is no fix. The service manager let me test drive another MDX, and the white one I drove had the same noises:( The dash board is permenantly marked, and the only fix is to replace. I said no way, and will live with the mark. They must have rubbed some of the dash material off while trying to remove the glue. Otherwise, I am quite satisfied and nervous when I drive it, as there are a tremendous amount of accidents lately! The NAV is great, but I noticed that it is slightly off. Is there a way to calibrate it?
I am in the process of taking some pics and will post soon.

Thanks Everyone..
