Hello

I just purchased a 2005 MDX with NAV & RES. I would like to hardwire my ipod touch 5 to the stereo, as I don't want cables running from the RCA connectors in the back with the kids back there, and I am sick of using a FM transmitter. I'm trying to stay away from bluetooth connectors, as I have figured out how to use the phone system on the steering wheel. Unless anyone has had a good experience with a particular bluetooth connector for both handsfree calling, as well as playing music through the radio.

Thanks in advance!

I use the GROM-USB3, it can plug into the CDC Player (if you don't have one) or replace your XM (Don't recommend this as unplugging the XM is a pain!)
Grom is good in CDC mode but no Text. XM has text but is very slow.
I fed the unit into the glove box.

There is also USA-Spec, I haven't tried the speed on that.

Both plug into the back of the stereo, I would also invest in a $10 set of plastic shims to open the console.

You will need
The shims,
A Screw Driver
Long fingers..haha
About 30 minutes.
