I am interested to know how much quieter a 2002 is over a 2001? Is it as quiet as the RX300? Also does anyone know how much the Manik side steps stick out compared to OEM.

According to my trusty Radio Shack sound meter, 2.1 db at 70 mph. The RX300 is still considerably quieter than a 2002.

I can't tell you about the difference between the RX and the MDX, but having owned a 2001 and a 2002 MDX, the 2002 is MUCH quieter at highway speeds.
