I have a base MDX. The performance of the stock Alpine gear is fair. I would like to tighten up the bass and improve the highs. The midbass is livable although it begins distorting at higher volume due to it's inexpensive paper cone. I'm happy that the base stereo uses 4 ohm speakers vs. the Bose's 1 ohm. I'd like to replace the front tweeters and the subwoofer. I'm trying to determine what tweeters to use, but I don't know how to remove the tweeter. Any suggestions?

Thanks

Just squeeze the cover a bit mainly from the leading edge (front of car) and pull off.

You can then remove two screws to remove the tweeter.

If you want to remove the tweeter base / tweeter pod, that is the plastic triangle piece that the tweeter is attached to, just pull. Try rolling the window down so you can wrap your fingers around the edge and pull from the top corner.
