i was wondering where all the mdx people came from all of a sudden!
i don't mind if people want to get in on the mbworld group buy so pm me if you want - to save time, you need to send me:
your name
car info (i assume MDX)
stage 1 or 2 kits 9006
so far, kyle hasn't said anything about it being a problem of me adding people at the last second.
you need to send it to me by thurs night as friday is the last day and i will make 1 last call/email.
i'm not sure which type of ballast is needed (or if it makes a difference), but specify type 1 or 2 ballasts - the info on what the difference is is at hids4less's site.
and yes, i am a member of this forum (before the group buy thing) so you can pm me here w/out having to create a membership at mbworld...

also, don't panic if you can't get in on this group buy. there is talk even at mbworld of another group buy being put together. so if you can't get 10, i'll send them this way. kyle told me that a group buy must have at least 10. did not mention any additional discount for even greater numbers although i could see that happening.
note that kyle seems like a nice guy, but communication w/ them has been very spotty. it sounds like a 5 person company selling a product everyone wants... emails are replied to slowly, definitely no returned calls yet, you're lucky to get thru to kyle, etc. just a word of warning.

Thank you for 'adopting' us MDX'ers. I tagged onto the MB group buy a few days ago and hid4less took my order without a problem. Your help here is much appreciated . I'm looking forword to comparing the stage II with the OEM xenon on my E class.

I spoke with Mike and told him it was for the Acura MDX. Mike informed me that the 9006 stage II bulbs are backordered and it may take 2 weeks for them to come in. He assured me that my credit card wouldn't be charged until the order is ready to ship.
I put my order for the Stage II 9006 kit using the Type I Hella ballasts (Hella ballasts-are also referred to as Type 1 ballasts: included within the ballast is the igniter and inverter)
as Fireblade6 did see his post below.
However, I was assured that both type 1 and type 2 ballasts for the Stage II 9006 kits would work. The inverter
and igniter are seperated in type 2 ballasts.
It seems like there's always some waiting period assosciated with the MDX!!

I bought the Stage II HID kit from a company called MTC Lighting Corporation. Their web site is www.hids4less.com. Buncha nice guys there.
The kit consists of:
1)Two Hella ballasts-within the ballast included is the igniter and inverter.
2)Cables for connections
3)Two Hella Xenon HID bulbs with 9006 base and cables
4)Instructions on how to install and also how to tune the light patterns.
If you are mechanically challenged- It will take you 30 minutes. If you are not..It will take you like 15 minutes the most!

I figured that it was only a matter of time before you found out who was hitching a ride on your private tour!
I just want to echo was some others have said by saying thanks for allowing some of our eager members (myself included!) to jump on your group buy.
As an FYI, the Acura group buy is not allowed to officially start until after the 15th. (Which is when your group buy ends, I think.) Kyle or Jeff were going to send me the spreadsheet sometime this week.
And as the coordinator for the Acura group buy, I would not have a problem of allowing your members to add their orders to our group buy too!

oracle, are you waiting for the acura group buy? or did you want to get in on the mbworld group buy? if the latter, just tell kyle (or michael), that you're w/ mbworld and mention my name "young" and he should hook you up. friday is the last day. good luck
