I received my 2002 MDX on Saturday. It's AWESOME! A week or so earlier, I ordered a moon-roof visor, front air deflector and body side moldings from the sponsor of this forum. Within an hour and a half I had installed both the visor and deflector ALL BY MYSELF! (No help from strong, able, handsome, golfing, hubby - this time).

The instructions were clear and very precise. Perfect. I encourage all of you gals to try an accessory or two. You can do it, if I can.

PS: The side moldings were backordered. But, I'll tackle them too, upon receipt!

I know how it is. Hubby is always to busy to help me out washing and waxing my car so I always do it myself. I didn't install my stuff, but everytime I wash and wax it I take off my front deflector and put it back on. I also wash and wax his. He's had it since 2000 and he's only done it once. So it goes to show that some of us girls do "mens" work . I know DMor does alot of her own stuff to her MDX.

I have a feeling I'm going to get some crap over my post by some men. I don't mean anything bad by it.

No crap from this guy, I think it's great. It's a lot more fun and interesting to have a co-ed forum. When I started on this forum, I think that I expected it to be a "guy-thing" but DMor quickly straightened me out.

Are there men that do those things??? Mine is quite happy with me doing "that kinda stuff", leaves him time for golf. He has a pick up because someone has to drive it - I can't drive both the pu and the X. He would rather have a sports car, and would have one if not for my "projects".
