Mine was built early and delivered early. As to your delivery snafu, will your dealer sell above MSRP? If he will, he may have sold yours "out from under you" to the highest bidder -- it has been known to happen.
We picked ours up in the morning -- the light was right for a thorough visual inspection, and we had all day to drive it!
