Help to identify a bolt

Hi All, while I took off the right front wheel, I noticed that a bolt is missing where the inner CV axle attached. There are 2 bolts, up and down, the upper bolt was missing, does anyone know if this is part of the transmission or CV axle? Thank you.

I was dumb I forgot to take the pic, but it's a big bolt, most likely size 8, not 6. I am guessing #33 in the diagram.

I don't think it's a bearing, more like a hanger?
