My navigation traffic doesn't work anymore after an independent mechanic accidentally discharged the car battery by leaving the headlights on. :(

After I start the car, I can see the "traffic" indicator when zooming the navigation in/out, but after about 5 minutes, it goes away.

Any ideas what I can do? I've tried all of the following:

- Called Sirius/XM and had then send a reset signal.

- Popped out and back in the Navigation DVD.

If it helps any, I also lost my seat/mirror memory and the Sirius/XM Preview station works. (I only get XM traffic, not the radio.)

Any other suggestions?

Thanks,
Francesco

FYI, I finally figured out what the issue was and fixed it.

After the battery dies and you restore power, you will be prompted to enter the Radio/Nav code.

If you don't enter it, the Nav Traffic doesn't work even though the XM preview station does.

When this happened at my mechanic's, they didn't know the code so they obviously skipped entering it (or telling me about it).

I figured this out when I disconnected the battery to clean the terminals. Once I entered the Radio/Nav code in, Nav Traffic was back!
