My 2008 is over 10 years now and the ballasts are working fine. Just replaced the bulbs recently. One of them was flickering and went out. Then it only flickered once when the light was turned on.

So probably just a bulb replacement.

I just replaced mine with Philips D2S X-TremeVision Gen2 Part No. 85122XV2S1. These are 4800K, originals were 4300K Philips D2S Part No. 85122.

The OEM colour temperature is 4300.

NightBreaker Xenarcs are closest to the OEM, although they are a bit colder.
CBIs are a bit colder than the NightBreakers.

I don't know about Philips.
