I was getting a nasty grinding noise when I would brake at low speeds from the front of the car about 6 months ago on my ?07 MDX. I checked the rotors, and they were a little ?wavy?, so I replaced the rotors and pads. The noise seemed to go away for a little, but is back again. New rotors don?t seem to be ?wavy? like the old ones when I started getting this noise.

Fluid level is good, I even bled the lines to be sure there wasn?t any air. I also replaced the reservoir cap because the seal was torn.

Any ideas where to go from here?

One other note. This doesn?t happen all the time, only when the discs are hot. Stops normal for the first 10-15 min of driving then it starts acting up.

Always follow the brake supplier's application recommendations because ceramic brake pads are generally NOT recommended to replace semi-metallic pads, especially on larger, heavier vehicles. On trucks and large SUVs, semi-metallic linings are typically needed to handle higher loads and braking temperatures.
