I'm new to this website, and I sure am finding it immensely helpful. You folks know your stuff. My wife and I have been considering the Gold Inner Grille and the Gold Emblem Kit (gold looks good on white, I think), but my wife says that those are popular items for kids to steal (not necessarily from MDX's in particular, but vehicles in general). She works with kids, so often gets the inside line on what they're up to these days. Anyone out there have any experience with theft or vandalism of these accessories? Thanks.

I've had gold emblems and exhaust tips on my wife's TL for 2 years with no problems. Actually, I was expecting they'd be gone by now, especially the exhaust tips.

Having said that, I'd better go to find a rabbit's foot....

I have had gold emblem kits on my last 3 cars and have never had a problem. I have the gold emblem kit on my Black MDX & it looks sharp - I only did the gold Acura logo in the front grill. Here is a link to the pics to give you an idea what it looks like:

Note - the dealer installed a diff look on the rear - gold letters inside the silver trim. Also it was very sunny out & the pics didn't turn out too well.
