Anyone know how to tighten the Glove Box latch? The box max a rattling noise when going over bumps as it now does not latch snuggly.

FYI, it's not listed in the '01 Service Manual. Many cars have a couple of screws holding the wire-loop portion of the latch, but they're not readily visible on the MDX, if they're there at all.

soe...check postings on "glove box rattle" and "glove box misalignment". Plenty of stuff I recall on this topic. My glove box doesn't rattle, but is misaligned. I chose to do nothing about it, since it is not obvious unless you know it is there, and my rule is, "if it ain't broke enough, don't fix it."

I have a 2002 MDX and had the 'glove box rattle' problem from the first day I got it. Went to the dealership and found the wiring assembly behind the glovebox was loose.

Who knows??? But at least it's not making the noise anymore...

My 04 MDX has glovebox rattle when it is cold. When the heater is on (or the door is open), the rattle is gone. Any suggestion?
