I suggest you to put down the deposit even if they tell you it will be 2 months or longer waiting list. There will be a lot more cancellations due to bad economy and multiple deposits such as GCK and marne's case. I did the similar thing but one of the dealer didn't require any deposits but it was a much longer waiting list. So the chances are that you will get your MDX much sooner than you think. I think one of the forum member got an MDX in 10 days in L.A.
Once you get your MDX, I'll bet it won't be your third car. You will want to drive it everyday. Good luck and hope that you get your soon.

I got my 02 MDX from Sunnyvale Acura in less than 2 months. Initially they told me 3 months or longer but it turned out that it wasn't so. I'm wondering how many other people got theirs much earlier like me. We should start a quick survey among the 02 'X owners out there and get a feel of how much the supply and demand has balance out by now. ???
