Won't beat the MDX Navi but....
Review: http://www.zdnet.com/anchordesk/stories/story/0,10738,2908777,00.html"A Palm licensee for about two years, Garmin announced Wednesday [Jan 8] that it would begin selling a Palm OS 5-based handheld in the second quarter of 2003. The iQue 3600, which will sell for $589, will come with navigation software and a built-in global positioning system antenna allowing consumers to locate and map their position and navigate to addresses or points of interest."
"The Garmin iQue 3600 was one of the hottest mobile products at last week's Consumer Electronics Show. Priced at $589, the forthcoming Palm device is the first PDA to include a built-in Global Positioning System (GPS) receiver.
YOU CAN, of course, already get GPS receivers as PDA add-ons. But because the iQue's GPS receiver is built-in, and because the antenna flips up from behind the screen, this should also be the thinnest, lightest, and most convenient GPS-based PDA on the market.
It's also the first Palm OS device that I'm aware of to offer turn-by-turn navigation: Once you enter a destination, the PDA can give you "spoken" as well as on-screen driving directions. There are Pocket PC devices that do the same thing, as well as standalone GPS units (from Garmin, Magellan, and others), but no Palm OS devices that I'm aware of."
