From the 2:00 to 2:05 minute mark of video below which details the removal of front bumper of a 2007-2009 Acura MDX (to replace DRL lights etc.), the video uploader makes reference to some 'clips' in our 2007-2009 MDX front bumpers that facilitate holding everything together?

Does anyone happen to know the actual NAME and/or Honda/Acura part # for these clips please? I'm trying to order some new ones as suggested by my mechanic (who'll soon be installing new DRL's on my '09 MDX) in order to address present issue with portions of my front bumper not aligning up evenly along some areas just under the low beam light housings (as pointed to within pictured below):

It might be OCD on my part, but those uneven gaps of space between the light housings and portions of the front bumper really bother me at times!...

I'm assuming you are looking for the black push/lock plastic clips? I updated my HIDs on my 11 MDX and 08 RDX. I also had loose or broken clips on my 06 TSX and my daughter's 09 Mazda 5dr hatch. I did the shotgun approach and did a wide assortment of plastic clips that fit almost any vehicle, Amazon, $27: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B007QQRKXG/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I'm glad I had extra because 1/2 the clips between the 4 vehicles were broken, missing, or ended up breaking trying to remove because of age. I'm still using the box of clips after 2 years since purchase.

Agree, I have something similar.
https://www.amazon.com/Kungfu-Mall-Retainers-Fasteners-Chrysler/dp/B07125JVNC $18.75

That said, I was installing a ceiling net in the 4Runner yesterday & broke the one clip I didn’t have.

Hopefully someone has the Acura FSM bumper schematic, otherwise go in to your dealer & have them look it up. It will probably be worth your while to just get it while your there but keep the part# & you can order online if you need more later.

Thanks Mr. mrgold35 & Mr. Raingoat :29:....both of those Amazon products look like really useful things to have around just in case....

The (rectangle shaped) clips/fasteners that I'm inquiring upon actually appear to be black METAL in composition are the same objects for which the video uploader actually makes physical contact with via his fingers (for about 2 seconds from about the @2:03 through 2:05 time mark within the YouTube video above)....

they appear to be affixed to the front of the MDX (and into which the front bumper cover slides into/is held in by, once inserted), so perhaps they're not a part that's readily available separately or is actually part of the body of the MDX?....if I'm unable to find them, I may just ask the independent Honda/Acura technician to 'try their best in aligning the front bumper cover back into place when inserting back onto the front of my 2009 MDX' (post near future DRL bulb replacement) so I don't end up with large, uneven gaps between the front bumper cover and the area just under the low beam light housings.

The pieces that he thumps, with his index finger, at 2:03 are metal "hooks" and are not individually replaced.

They act like guides and accept the notched out holes on the bumper cover.

If the bumper cover's notch is aligned on the opposite side of a metal "hook", you will see a misalignment. All of the notches should go either under or over the metal "hooks".
I don't remember.

One way the bumper cover slips in easily and the other way the bumper cover is very difficult to "snap" in to place.

Thanks!! :29:...... this makes the objective much easier to understand- the last shop I took my MDX into to install my present DRL's and who had removed and replaced my '09 MDX's front bumper cover (in a very uneven fashion- leaving large uneven gaps in between part of the front bumper cover and the clear plastic low beam light housing upon realignment back onto the X! :surprise:) had told me last year to 'get some new clips next time to help with better alignment in the future....' which is starting to potentially smell like some BS right about now (unless he was referring to the various clips/bolts/screws detailed within step 2 of that very useful diagram above that you've shared?!)....
