I installed my Form Fit deflector last night. I have 2 questions.

1.) Why is it that the hood almost needs to be slammed to close?? I saw nothing in the way except the clips that sit over the rubber seals, whick looked fine. It closes and everything looks good - any ideas?

2.) How can you get the "Form Fit" logo off of the deflector?

Have you ever opened and closed your hood before you installed the deflector? I didn't when I installed mine and I had the same problem.. had to slam the thing down fairly hard to get it to close. So it bothered me enough to remove the deflector just to try it out.. and guess what.. Same thing. Had to slam it to get the hood to close.. so it's the same either way.. the deflector has nothing to do with the hood not closing easy..

Thanks. Actually I did open and close the hood several times before installing the deflector. It seemed like it closed much easier without the deflector. Got any ideas on removing the logo? Is yours a Form Fit??

I think you could use a plastic polishing compound to remove the Formfit logo. You may find this polishing compound at a lot of hardware stores, i.e. Home Depot or Orchard Supply and Hardware. It looks like a past and will remove the logo but the polishing action will keep the luster and shiny surface.
I used this kind of polishing compound before at work and it seems to work well on Acrylics.
