Technically I can, but for one thing. It's an ORM-D class hazmat, and it is costly to ship (relative for a small part). Besides which, on such a low-dollar part, I at the very least have to cover my costs involved with it in as far as cost of the product and shipping. Since I assume nobody would want to pay 8 or 9 bucks for a bottle of touch up, I usually refer people to their local dealer.
The VTM fluid is more a matter of not trusting UPS to ship gallons of fluid in plastic containers, no matter how it's boxed. I'd estimate at least 1 in 4 would have leakage, and I'd end up refunding a lot of money, not to mention shipping costs. When you're talking of those two things, it would be very hard to attempt it, and not seem as if you're trying to "price gouge", when in fact you're really just trying to cover your own costs. I mean, it'd be a situation where the end price might end up being, say, $10 more (or more) from me than at your local dealer. People always expect me to have the best deal (or close to it), and it couldn't happen on those two things.
