Could not figure out what was new here. I thought if you added the required coolers the MDX could tow 3500 lbs. The boat in the article was only 2340 lbs.

Towing with the MDX

I just towed the largest UHaul trailer 1200 miles and averaged 16 MPG. Could not ask for a better tow vehicle and I know I maxed out the tow weight plus some. Mike

What is new here is that this is a review from a magazine and not a X owner. They tend to be more critical and more objective in their reviews if not picky. I'm pretty sure that they have tested other vehicles that are more designed for hauling duty, their test fo the MDX shows how versatile this vehicle is. There was a lot of doubts on how the X can really handle towing and if the pros say this was an easy vehicle to use with this type of duty then I'm sold on their review even I do not plan to haul anything in the future but is nice to know that if I should need to do so I would not have to worry about it.
