You just grab it and pull it either forward or back. They don't appear to be fragile or flimsy. I already "folded" the passenger side using my garage wall (fortunately, I "carpeted" the wall just in case) and it bent in on impact like it was supposed to and was fine when I snapped it back.sorvanetz said:Is it possible to fold the MDX side mirrors?
They look like they are folding mirrors, but
I can't find any description of how to fold
them in the manuals, and don't want to try
without knowing exactly how.
Friend of mine just picked up his LS430-mirrors fold automatically soon as you shut the car off! un fold out when key is turned back on!! Nice- but paid $56,000.00 w/nav.vip9 said:They are manually-folded. Just push it up slightly and in.
MDX being as wide as it is, I usually fold the road-facing mirror when I park. Then, I usually forget to open it back. (especially the passenger side one).
I read somewhere that SLX (AKA Isuzu Trooper) had automatic folding mirrors. That would have been nice....
