Holy Shiznit!

the components look awesome, What's your grand total expended, if you don't mind me asking? Did you do it yourself or take it to a stereo shop? Look forward to more pics and more details on the whole process. Later.

Exactly my REACTION, WOW!!!

Who made the trims? I'm assuming that's custom? What is it made of? Nice relocation for the OEM Screen/Navi... Please give us the details. I'm pretty sure this is something alot of X'ers will consider doing, including myself.

Another Question

Can that LCD screen be used for a Navi unit? I have a deposit on a Base/Premium model and was planning on buying an after market Navi unit with the money saved. This is something that might work as DVD/Navi screen. C'mon C'mon, give us some more details and pictures. There's alot of X'ers here thinking of adding after market NAVI.

More info

I am sorry but at this point I really don't have any more good pictures yet. We just finished the project and I wanted to at least let you all get a sneak peak at it. It is not even on our Website yet. The system is very extensive but could easily be scaled way back to meet anybodies criteria. The dash work you see in the photos is all custom and at this point is the only one like it. I have had some interest in replication of the dash but have not actually done it a 2nd time. The reason we went with painted body color is #1 because we hate wood grain (if you notice we changed everything that was wood to body color) #2 it is very durable #3 to replicate the fake wood was cost prohibitive. There is a way but your talking lot's of dough~!~

The screen in the dash is a Kenwood LZ-800W wide touch screen. We currently have the Alpine Navigation plumbed into it but the screen pictured is set up to accept the new Kenwood DVD navigation system. This system utilizes the touch screen to control all of the functions. very very cool.

more to follow.......

WOW!

Beyond the A/V, that custom trim looks great. I especially like the re-lo of the trip computer.

That drop-down screen in the 3rd row is gonna attract some serious tailgaters. Does the system include those Yosemite Sam "Back Off" mud flaps?

that's awesome piece of craftwork.
I'm actually planning on the same thing for my wife's highlander. Will be fabricating from a fiberglass also. I'm looking at the kenwood navigation and touchscreen also--better than the alpine. E bay have those screens and navigation for a lot cheaper than in Tweeter store.
I'm waiting for more detail of Brian's work and get some idea.
