Ok, I know this topic has been visited a million times, I have read almost every post, but many are years old with bad links or most recommend a site that no longer sells anything for the MDX.
That being said, I just grabbed a 13' MDX Advance, moving on from 9yrs in an 05' TL and am looking to replace the DRL's with LED and fogs with HID....So, suggestions? Links to what has worked for you guys? Also looking for interior and license plate LED suggestions.

Thanks in advance!

I believe the overhead lights in the headliner are already LED...they were in my 2011....the lights in the doors and under the dash are a fairly easy replacement...

Try this link for the model numbers..

https://www.sylvania-automotive.com/apps/vlrg-us/Vlrg/

I have not found a solution yet for my DRL's and Fogs..I would like to. Diode Dynamics is a sponsor here who sells bulbs, not sure if they throw a code or not.

I'll be watching this thread..good luck.

I added LED to both DTR and fogs on my 13 DX

Fogs are swap and go..
DTRs will need a resistor module, otherwise they WILL throw an error message

many of my previous experience would recommend halogen for the fogs and LEDs for the DLR. HIDs in either of those small housings is gonna lead to alot of heat and short bulb life. and horrible glare

Hello you Irish...bastard!!!

sorry, couldn't resist....

This is what I have running for my FOG lights right now- originally purchased several months ago for my DRL's (2009 MDX) at about $100 for a pair (price has since dropped down to about $80 a pair and there's also a 15% sale on top of that running right now)- my installer somehow got confused and installed these in the FOG light position, and while I'd normally be pissed, I'm actually pleasantly pleased that I have some amazing (annoyingly BRIGHT too!) powerful fogs that shine like a WHITE SUN while perfectly complimenting the stock Xenon low beams!!!! :29:

*these things really light up the road, significantly increasing road visibility esp. on the interstates!

yes link is for 9005 and yes fogs are H11- installer had mistakenly installed these for my Fogs, so yes even though they're made for 9005, they will also work/fit in FOG area (and are a perfect looking/functioning FOG light that will compliment the Acura stock Xenon low beams!)....just remember for LED's to get RESISTORS (for both DRL and FOG) in order to avoid the potential error(s) in your dashboard error message center area (located just above the steering wheel).

On a sidenote- I have re-tinted my 2009 MDX many times with different brands and %'s, I have found that 25% on the front two side (driver & passenger) windows using 3M FX-PM (aka FX premium) gives you the closest match to the stock Rear/back Window tint) for an overall uniform, factory like appearance- and isn't so dark as to have the cops on your back all the time....

this particular (non-metallic) tint also has ZERO interference when it comes to GPS, cell phones, radar detectors etc. :29:

Im pretty sure fogs dont need resistors. One of mine recently burnt out and I had no message.

AFAIK... resistors are only required for the DTR... fogs are plug and drive..
