Looks really good. I was looking forward to either adding the factory or aftermarket ones myself but was wondering how my wife who is only 5 feet tall and my daughter (2 years old) would manage getting in/out of the car with these. Would these help shorter people or would it get in the way? Have you tried it with family/friends who are shorter getting in/out of the car?

That is why I installed them. my wife is 5 ft also and I have a 2 year old who we put into the car. The running boards are a great addition for looks and functionality. Good luck. send after photo once completed, have fun

They definitely help kids and shorter people get in the car. But, I found them to be a pain to deal with personally. If you don't use the boards, it can make getting in and out very uncomfortable.
