I know that with the current sound proofing technology today for cars...Is putting a CD-changer under a subwoofer a good idea? With woofers and amps today pumping out almost the same DB as in some night clubs out there...Would that inherintly affect the performance of the changer in terms read and also changing of CDs?
Am sure with the volume cranked up...the woofers are going to THUMP. Unless you have specific liquiq or gel dampers surrounding the CD CHANGER...Am pretty sure that it will affect the sound... You thoughts on this particular install of the audio hardware in this NICE candy apple red Cadillac CTS would be appreciated. Thanks
Actually, with the built in damping technology of all these newer changer, bass imposes no threat on skipping, reading, changing disks, or any other adverse affects on the laser. We have done several install like this, even with the changer on top or to the side, or even directly IN FRONT of the woofers with NO PROBLEMS what so ever.
