Hi all,
First-time MDX owner. Picked up this beauty this weekend — 2022 SH-AWD w/Tech Package. There are a handful of accessories I’ve already installed (splash guards, floor mats, cargo mat), and a couple more I’d like to. I’ll be installing the Roof Rails this week. I want to add Cross Bars but I’ve seen some comments in this forum (I think) that they’re not particularly easy to take on and off if you don’t want to leave them on full-time. I don’t really need them other than 4-5x a year, so am wondering if anyone here can recommend non-OEM Cross Bars that are easy to pop on and off as needed. Any advice or input is appreciated!

I have a 2022 Advanced MDX that has the rails. I installed the Cross Bars and it was easy. They do stick up high. I may remove them since I will not be using them much and it should be easy, but you have to remember to save the small rubber caps that fill the hole in the roof rails. I have already lost 2 of mine. The cross bars make it much easier to see the car in a parking lot.

Yeah, be careful with those rubber caps. They come out very easily, even when you’re drying the car off with a rag

The cross bars are easy to take off and put on.....make sure you don't lose the key, LOL!

My MDX is still on order, but am interested in your bars. What makes them different than OEM? Not looking for the free samples as I am probably a month away from getting mine, but am curious.
