Received a January 18th build date from the Acura dealer in early January.

Completed the paperwork and accessories by January 15th.

This past Saturday (the 19th) I sold the 98 Windstar and picked up the rental car that I will use until delivery. (02 Dodge Grand Caravan Sport edition) Not a bad ride!

Late Saturday the dealer phoned and left a message saying he had the VIN and that I was now in "D" stage, which I imagine is delivery.

However, I have my own "D" stage thoughts:

. Death valley (no real vehicle, just a rental)
. Desperate (time ticks away soooo slowly)
. Dawn of MDX
. Delightful (no more Ford)

Just a few musings, as I await the new chariot

Gosh you're brave. I didn't give up my old car until -after- I picked up the MDX. Good thing too. The MDX arrived a month after the dealer said it would.

Hey, I'm also getting rid of a '98 Ford Windstar to get an MDX. After nearly $5k in repairs on a vehicle with 60K miles, I thought it was time to let it go.

How long did it take you to unload (er, I mean sell) the Windstar?
