Check Engine Light

Has anyone experienced the check engine light coming on? Mine has come on 3 times in non-service related incidents. The manual suggests a loose gas cap. The dealer claims the sensor is very sensitive. Anyone else with this problem?

Do a search for check engine light, or check engine. This has been discussed often, and recently.

No one in their right mind wants to hear the dreaded "R" (recall) word! ;)

Ain't I right, X5 owners?;) :eek:
