We all know how easily the seat belt buckle can damage the interior trim by the door(s). I understand that some of you have had it replaced at no cost by your dealer.

Have you attempted to have your nicked-up interior door pillar(s) trim replaced under warranty? Please respond to the Bruised Door Pillar Poll.

We do not have this problem ...

... because of this web site:D

We found out BEFORE we took delivery about this problem and do not let the seatbelt "fly-back" We hold the belt and guide it back to its resting position.

Thank goodness for our site:

Did not realize that the door pillar had a nick in it until I read about the problem, right here.

Likewise, I thought all those "Thuds" I heard were those nasty speedbumps and the "Tears" were my poor drying technic after washing, until I got edgeucated, right here.
