Anyone else seen the color of their body side moldings fade over time? In the direct sunlight, my once silver moldings now look almost yellow in spots. It is as if the silver paint has rubbed off! I waxed them with Meguiar’s Cleaner Wax immediately after installation. I hand wash the vehicle using Meguiar’s Gold Class Car Wash Shampoo & Conditioner. Both products claim to be “gentle” and clear coat safe. These are the standard moldings that I got from Tim. The looked great – for awhile. Burnout.

I have had the BSMs (from Tim) on for 4 months with no problems. I Zaino'd them when I installed them & have had no issues with fading. With Black I think the fading would be very easily noticed, but they match the rest of the paint perfectly & look as good as new.
