The Powered Bazooka tubes are not bad. I have used them in th past. The good thing for about them in this application is you can just wire them directly to your rear speakers, add ground and power (you would probably want o dissconnect he factory sub) and you have instant bass. The draw back is they take up space and are not of the highest sound quality. You might want to look aound this site a bit and see what others are doing to get some ideas. If money is not a issue then go to a reputable custom shop ans see what ideas they have. If money is an issue you will find a bunch of resonable ideas on this site including just upgrading the stock speakers and subwoofer.
