Bazooka Bass Tubes

Please help!

I am looking to get a new Subwoofer in my MDX, and people have been telling me that these bass tubes are the way to go (bazooka). I was just wondering how much power the MDX gives out, and if they know if the Bass tube would be loud.

I would get the 10" self powered tube: RS10A-hp

If anyone has any experience with bass tubes... Or if they know a place that sells new head units for the MDX... how much power the factory installed has, that would be great help.

Thanks a lot,
Dura(mdx).

DuraMDX,
The Powered Bazooka tubes are not bad. I have used them in th past. The good thing for about them in this application is you can just wire them directly to your rear speakers, add ground and power (you would probably want o dissconnect he factory sub) and you have instant bass. The draw back is they take up space and are not of the highest sound quality. You might want to look aound this site a bit and see what others are doing to get some ideas. If money is not a issue then go to a reputable custom shop ans see what ideas they have. If money is an issue you will find a bunch of resonable ideas on this site including just upgrading the stock speakers and subwoofer.
