When replacing the battery on a 2016 and newer MDX, does anyone know how to perform the "internal resistance reset procedure", without taking it to the dealer and let him charge you $$$? Many other manufacturers now require this procedure (Ford, BMW, Honda, and several others).
Apparently, this procedure allows the alternator to charge at a lower value on a new battery to,
1. Increase (slightly) mpg's by reducing alternator loading, and
2. Charges new batteries at a lower amperage to increase longevity of a new battery.
